Correction to ‘Regulation of the androgen receptor by SET9-mediated methylation’

In 2013, the journal published a correction regarding Figure 5A.¹ In September 2024, additional concerns about overlap between Figures 2C and 4A, as well as between Figures 5A and 5B, were raised via PubPeer (https://pubpeer.com/publications/1313B7BA536901FBC689DBFDD5B63F). The authors now wish to correct Figures 4A and 5B.

According to the authors, the blots in Figure 4A were accidently duplicated from Figure 2C. The data in these blots do not represent the quantitative PCR experiments shown in the bar graphs in Figure 4A, which do not include AR. A new Figure 4A is provided below.

According to the authors, the N/S siRNA SET9 blot in Figure 5B was mistakenly duplicated from Figure 5A. A corrected Figure 5B is provided below.

The authors provided the original data supporting these figures to the journal editors, and it is available in the Supplementary Information to this correction notice.

This correction does not affect the results, discussion and conclusions presented in the article. These details have been corrected only in this correction notice to preserve the published version of record.
