Abstract

Chloroplasts were prepared in aqueous suspension from buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.) seedlings, and the incorporation of [1-14C]acetic acid into quercetin (3,5,7,3′,4′-pentahydroxyflavone) by the isolated chloroplast preparations was investigated.
