This article has been retracted at the request of the editor-in-chief. The corresponding author (H.L.) submitted a request to correct Figures 2, 3, and 4 of this article. Upon further investigation, similarities were found between images within this article. Similarities were also found between images in this article and articles by different authors in Molecular Cancer (Wang et al., 2017, Mol. Cancer 16, 61, https://doi.org/10.1186/s12943-017-0627-6), OncoTargets and Therapy (Zhou et al., 2019, Onco. Targets Ther. 27, 2289–2297, https://doi.org/10.2147/OTT.S183625), and Scientific Reports (Zhu et al., 2016, Sci. Rep. 6, 21549, https://doi.org/10.1038/srep21549). Image analysis conducted by the editorial office confirmed findings of image duplication in identical or altered fashion involving Figures 2D, 3D, and 4A of the original Molecular Therapy Oncology article. Given these issues, the editors have lost faith in the findings presented in this article. This reuse of data without appropriate attribution represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The original notice of retraction was undeliverable to authors Xiaonong Wang, Yuwen Liu, Yan Yang, and Qingquan Liu.
