Correction Consultant cleared after writing misleading reference

The title added to this news story by Owen Dyer (10 August, p 295) wrongly suggested that accusations that consultant urologist David Osborne had written a misleading reference had been proved.

They were not proved by the General Medical Council. The title should have read: “Consultant cleared of writing misleading reference.”
