Erratum: Bone morphogenetic protein 4 ameliorates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice by repressing NLRP3 inflammasome activation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition

In the published article entitled “Bone morphogenetic protein 4 ameliorates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice by repressing NLRP3 inflammasome activation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition” (1), there’s an error in the immunofluorescence image of Caspase-1 in BMP4 group of Figure 5A. The mistake was due to an unconscious label error at the time of taking the immunofluorescence image.

The original Figure 5A is presented below:

In order to revalidate the accuracy of this data, the authors repeated the whole experiment of Caspase-1 immunofluorescence staining in Figure 5A. The correct version of Figure 5A is shown below.

The authors regretted the errors and confirmed they will not change the results or conclusions of the article.
