Aluru, Matthew Wester, Karen C. White, James Kumar, Reubin McGuffin, Ann Frederick, Enrique Valera, and Rashid Bashir, which published September 26, 2022; 10.1073/pnas.2209607119 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 119, e2209607119).

The authors note that the first sentence in the Acknowledgments “R.B. acknowledges the funding from University of Illinois, CIMIT: NIH SUB MGH grant number 226421, NIGMS grant number 1R01GM129709, and NIH 1 R21 AI146865A to support A.G.” should instead appear as “E.V. and R.B. acknowledge the funding from University of Illinois, CIMIT: NIH SUB MGH grant number 226421, NIGMS grant number 1R01GM129709, NIH 1 R21 AI146865A to support A.G., and NIH R01AI148385.” The online version has been corrected.
