The authors regret their errors when transposing from an independent national dataset to generate Figure 3c. Errors are limited to Figure 3c, in relation to the ranking of colleges in terms of their annual incidence of bullying, discrimination including racism, and harassment (BDH) that affects trainee doctors in Australia.
The original Figure 3c understated the severity of BDH incidence for 14 colleges. Their correct average incidence range is 15%–34.5% (incorrect was 14.75%–34%, with each of those college's average being incorrectly understated by ≤ 1%).
The original Figure 3c overstated the severity of the annual incidence of BDH that affects trainees of one college, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA). Its corrected average annual incidence of BDH was 21.5% (incorrect was 29.25%).
The transposition errors do not substantially affect methodology, findings, and conclusions.
Corrected Figure 3c is below and should be read within the context of the original Figure 3a, Figure 3b and corresponding Figure 3 Legends. A median bar (top horizontal line for each college's cluster) has been added for clarity.
