The Journal publishes corrections when they are of significance to patient care, scientific data or record-keeping, or authorship, whether that error was made by an author, editor, or staff. Errata also appear in the online version and are attached to files downloaded from jbjs.org.
In the article entitled “Resuming Elective Orthopaedic Surgery During the COVID-19 Pandemic. Guidelines Developed by the International Consensus Group (ICM)” (J Bone Joint Surg Am. 2020;102[14]:1205-12), by Parvizi et al., there was an error on page 1211. Specifically, in the author affiliation section, “W.L. Walter, MBBS, PhD3” should have read “W.L. Walter, MBBS, PhD3,4,” the affiliation for Dr. Van Onsem that had read “3Specialist Orthopedic Group, The Mater Clinic, North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia” should have read “3Royal North Shore Hospital, St. Leonards, New South Wales, Australia,” and the affiliation for Dr. Walter that had read “3Specialist Orthopedic Group, The Mater Clinic, North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia” should have read “3Royal North Shore Hospital, St. Leonards, New South Wales, Australia” and “4University of Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.”
