Erratum

In the December 1998 issue of the Journal, in the article “European Y-Chromosomal Lineages in Polynesians: A Contrast to the Population Structure Revealed by mtDNA,” by Hurles et al. (63:1793–1806), the allele designation for microsatellite DYS19 (described in the Subjects and Methods section) is incorrect. Allele 1 should correspond to DYS19 repeat-unit number 13 (not to repeat-unit number 11). The correction does not affect any of the numerical analyses in this article.
