The data is displayed as mean ± SD (n = 10). 1,000 cells from each group were examined for DNA damage. In the same line, means denoted by various letters(a-d) are statistically significant (p < 0.05). The percentage of tail DNA served as the basis for the Comet scale, which indicated DNA damage. Damage can be classified as minimal or nonexistent (≤ 5%), low (5–20%), moderate (20–40%), high (40–75%), or severe (≥ 75%).
