Following publication of the original article [1], the authors would like to correct the texts in the first sentence under the heading Background in the Abstract section.

The sentence currently reads:

The strengn for medical school reflects a student’s perseverance in continuing medical training, regardless of personal sacrifices and academic or situational setbacks.

The sentence should read:

The strength of motivation for medical school reflects a student’s perseverance in continuing medical training, regardless of personal sacrifices and academic or situational setbacks.

The original article [1] has been corrected.
