Correction for Kalakonda et al., Monoallelic loss of tumor suppressor GRIM-19 promotes tumorigenesis in mice

PMCID: PMC12415230  PMID: 40875817

Correction for “Monoallelic loss of tumor suppressor GRIM-19 promotes tumorigenesis in mice,” by Sudhakar Kalakonda, Shreeram C. Nallar, Sausan Jaber, Susan K. Keay, Ellen Rorke, Raghava Munivenkatappa, Daniel J. Lindner, Gary M. Fiskum, and Dhananjaya V. Kalvakolanu, which published October 21, 2013; 10.1073/pnas.1303760110 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 110, E4213–E4222).

The authors note that “some unintentional errors occurred while composing the original Figs. 3, 7, and 8 for publication.

In Fig. 3A, the images of the untreated control mice were duplicated for both Grim-19+/+ and Grim-19−/− genotypes. In Fig. 7F, the Grim-19+/− control image was duplicated from the Grim-19−/− control image in Fig. 3D.

In Fig. 8C, the Grim-19+/+ and Grim-19+/− Cyclin D1 images overlap with the Grim-19+/+ and Grim-19+/− Cyclin D1 images in Fig. 4C.

In Fig. 8E, the Grim-19+/+ E-cadherin image overlaps with the Grim-19−/− E-cadherin image in Fig. 4F and the Grim-19+/− E-cadherin image overlaps with the Grim-19−/− E-cadherin image in Fig. 4F.

In Fig. 8F, the Grim-19+/− β-catenin image overlaps with the Grim-19−/− β-catenin image in Fig. 4G.

These errors do not change the conclusions of this paper in any significant manner. We profusely apologize for these errors, which are entirely due to poor proofreading and editing of the original paper.”

Corrected Figs. 3, 7, and 8 appear below.
