In the July 2021 issue of Journal of Women's Health (vol. 30, no. 7; 944–955) the article entitled “Baseline Characteristics from the Women Veterans Cohort Study: Gender Differences and Similarities in Health and Healthcare Utilization,” by Gaffey et al. requires correction.
On pages 946 and 952, the survey response rate reported in Figure 1 was incorrectly calculated as 32.2%. This has been changed to 24.2% on page 946 and 24% on page 952. Importantly, this survey response statistic is still within the range of response rates for other surveys of women Veterans (Reference 52: Gaeddert et al., 2020), so this error does not change the interpretation of our results.
On page 947, Figure 1, the number of surveys “Not received” was incorrectly listed as 3,564. This number has been corrected to 3,584.
On page 947, the high blood pressure statistics that are depicted by gender in the text were incorrectly listed as 18% versus 34%. The text has been updated to 14% versus 26% to match Table 3.
The online version of the article has been corrected. The authors apologize for these errors.
