The Editors-in-Chief have retracted this article. After publication concerns were raised about the reporting of this clinical trial. These concerns relate to the time between patient recruitment and the submission of the article, and the baseline CRP levels and associated P value in the two patient groups. The authors have not provided satisfactory explanations for these concerns. The Editors-in-Chief therefore no longer have confidence in the results and conclusions presented. Sherief Abd-Elsalam and Mohammed A. Medhat disagree with this retraction. Shaimaa Soliman, Eslam Saber Esmail, Mai Khalaf, Ehab F. Mostafa, Ossama Ashraf Ahmed, Mohamed Samir Abd El Ghafar, Mohamed Alboraie and Sahar M. Hassany have not responded to any correspondence from the Publisher about this retraction.
