Sodium intake among Korean population has been decreasing over the past 10 years and in 2022, it was 3,030 mg in population aged ≥1 year. Men were seen to consume more sodium than women (Figure 1). Sodium intake was higher in adults in their 30s and 40s compared to that in other age groups (Figure 2).
