We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful and meticulous review of our article. In response to your invaluable feedback, we have retrieved the medical records of all 13 patients and carefully re-examined the issues you highlighted. Please find our detailed response below:
1. The unit for bovine serum albumin (BSA) should be "m2". We have made the necessary correction.
2. At our institution, the electronic medical order system automatically calculates BSA using the Mosteller formula, based on the height and weight input by the nursing staff. The BSA values presented in the table were transcribed directly from the medical records. However, the height and weight values shown in the table were rounded to the nearest whole number, which may have resulted in slight discrepancies in the calculated BSA values. As for Patient 12, the BSA appears to have been a transcription error. To prevent any confusion, we have re-entered the data for Patient 12 and recalculated the BSA values for all patients based on the height and weight presented in the table.
