The Editor-in-Chief has retracted the article because there were methodological errors and data inaccuracies in calculation of CDEGs gene scores, which invalidates the key findings and the conclusions drawn from this study. The article also underwent unusual changes to the authorship list during the submission process. J Kuang has agreed to the retraction. K Rong, H Kuang, L Ou, R Fang, and H Yang have not responded to any correspondence from the editor/publisher about this retraction.
