In the August 2001 issue of the Journal, in the article “The Tumor-Necrosis-Factor Receptor–Associated Periodic Syndrome: New Mutations in TNFRSF1A, Ancestral Origins, Genotype-Phenotype Studies, and Evidence for Further Genetic Heterogeneity of Periodic Fevers,” by Aksentijevich et al. (69:301–314), there is an error in the DNA-sequence electropherogram (fig. 2) shown for the R92Q mutation. Both R92Q panels (mutant and normal) show the sequence of a single-nucleotide polymorphism that resides in intron 5 of TNFRSF1A. The R92Q nucleotide change described in table 1 is correct and should be used as a reference for this mutation. The authors regret this error.
