The authors regret that there appears to be a discrepancy between the text and the references in the second-to-last sentence of the third paragraph in the discussion section. The sentence should state: “One study reported a slightly higher, though not statistically significant, odds of cancer screening adherence among individuals with diabetes (Perrodin-Njoku et al., 2024), while another study indicated a lower unadjusted prevalence of cancer screening among individuals with diabetes (Miller and Pinsky, 2022)”.
