During a careful re-evaluation of the data, we have identified concerns regarding the data presented in the manuscript. We have determined that these issues fundamentally undermine the reliability of the reported findings on the role of Angiopoietin-like 4 (ANGPTL4) deficiency in macrophage function and intrinsic fatty acid metabolism. Consequently, We want to withdraw the manuscript title “Angiopoietin-like 4 Deficiency Upregulates Macrophage Function Through Dysregulation of Cell-Intrinsic Fatty Acid Metabolism” (AJCR0108094), which was published in American Journal of Cancer Research. This decision has been reached unanimously by all authors. We collectively agree that retraction is necessary. We sincerely apologize to the editors, reviewers, readers, and the broader scientific community for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.
