Several errors appeared in the article “A Test of Transmission/Disequilibrium for Quantitative Traits in Pedigree Data, by Multiple Regression,” by George et al. (65:236–245). In table 2, on page 240, the parental two-locus mating type for the fourth row should read as “AD/AD×Ad/aD,” and that for the sixth row should read “AD/AD×Ad/ad.” In table 3, on page 241, the marker mating type in the title should read “Aa×aa”; the parental two-locus mating type in the second row of table 3 should read “AD/aD×aD/ad”; and the joint probability of offspring with genotypes dd and Aa, in the ninth row of table 3, should read “θ/2.” The second complete sentence of the main text in the left-hand column on page 241 should read “Linkage-disequilibrium coefficients, Δ's, of .1 and .01 were achieved by use of P(AD)=.3 and .21, respectively; P(aD)=.2 and .29, respectively; P(Ad)=.1 and .19, respectively; and P(ad)=.4 and .31, respectively.” The authors apologize for these errors.
