Retraction notice to “Curcuminoid B63 induces ROS-mediated paraptosis-like cell death by targeting TrxR1 in gastric cells” [Redox Biology 21 (2019) 101061]

The authors requested a corrigendum regarding issues with six images (Fig. 4A and 8C, and Supplementary Figures S7A, S9, and S15B). After a request for explanation from the Editors, the authors explained these were mistakenly pasted during figure compilation. Upon reviewing the explanation and the extent of the errors, concerns arose regarding data management and oversight. As the integrity of the data cannot be assured, the Editors-in-Chief have decided to retract the article to uphold scientific standards.

The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
