Correction to: Cell Research 10.1038/s41422-025-01196-3, published online 13 November 2025
We have been contacted by the lead author of the Nature paper which we recently commented in Cell Research, who pointed out a few issues with Fig. 1 that we believe should be fixed.
In the original version, we swapped the name of viruses, and incorrectly depicted Z-RNA as emerging from both green and purple mRNA areas, which is incorrect. Here we placing the correct figure. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
