Correction to: Scientific Reports 10.1038/s41598-025-24063-y, published online 15 October 2025

The original version of this Article contained an error in the Materials and methods section, under the subheading ‘Soil sampling and analysis’, where flame photometry was erroneously mentioned as a method used in the study.

“For chemical analysis, soil samples collected from 3 replicates (n = 3) in each fertilizer treatment (n = 3) were analyzed for Si and P. Si and P were determined using the Mehlich-III method75 followed by spectrometer and flame photometry76.”

now reads:

“For chemical analysis, soil samples collected from 3 replicates (n = 3) in each fertilizer treatment (n = 3) were analyzed for Si and P. Si and P were determined using the Mehlich-III method75 and quantified by spectrophotometric analysis.”

The original Article has been corrected.
