Following publication, it was noted that the strength and certainty of evidence for Recommendation 2.1 was inadvertently omitted from the summary of recommendations and the main text. The recommendation should have read as follows:

For patients with NVAF who have decided to pursue stroke prevention treatment, the SCAI/HRS guideline panel suggests OAC or LAAO as treatment options (conditional recommendation, moderate certainty evidence).

The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.

This was a joint publication that was also published in the journal Heart Rhythm (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.hrthm.2025.05.048).
