Author Correction: A two-step mechanism for epigenetic specification of centromere identity and function

In the version of this article (PMC4418506), due to figure preparation mistakes, Fig. 4b contained a duplicate of the image “day 12” in Supplementary Fig. 3b, while the image for CENP-PSNAP in Supplementary Fig. 2a was duplicated from Fig. 2b. The corrected figures (Figs. 1 and 2, below) in this amendment serve to replace Fig. 4b and Supplementary Fig. 2a in the article. These errors do not affect the interpretation of the experiments or conclusions of the study.
