Correction to: Scientific Reports 10.1038/s41598-024-81911-z, published online 04 December 2024
The original version of this Article contained errors in Figure 2 and Figure 3, where the images from another experiment were used, due to a labelling error.
In Figure 2C, the images of the Ctrl group for MIA PaCa-2 were incorrect.
In addition, in Figure 3, panel C was incorrect. As a result, the fluorescence intensities corresponding to LC3 and LAMP2 shown in Figure 3D were also incorrect.
The original Figure 2 and 3 and accompanying legends appear below.
Fig. 2.
OST induces autophagy initiation in PC cells. (A,B) Western blot analysis of LC3 and Atg5 in PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cells treated with the indicated concentrations of OST for 24 h or 100 µM OST for the indicated times. (C) Immunofluorescence analysis of LC3 puncta in cells treated with or without OST for 24 h, scale bar: 10 μm. (D) The number of LC3 puncta (C) is shown. (E) Western blot analysis of LC3 expression in PC cells treated with or without OST in the presence or absence of 5 mM 3-MA for 24 h. (F) Coimmunoprecipitation analysis of the interaction between Beclin1 and Atg14L in PC cells incubated with or without OST for 24 h.
Fig. 3.
OST blocks autophagic flux in PC cells. (A) Western blot analysis of p62 in PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cells treated with the indicated concentrations of OST for 24 h. (B) Western blot analysis of LC3 in PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cells treated with OST in the absence or presence of CQ. (C) Immunofluorescence analysis of the colocalization of LC3 and LAMP2 in PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cells incubated with or without 100 µM OST for 24 h, scale bar: 10 μm. Cells incubated with rapamycin served as a positive control. (D) The fluorescence intensities corresponding to LC3 and LAMP2 are shown.
The original Article has been corrected.
