The editors retract “Acceleration of Wound Healing in Diabetic Rats through Poly Dimethylaminoethyl Acrylate–Hyaluronic Acid Polymeric Hydrogel Impregnated with a Didymocarpus pedicellatus Plant Extract” (DOI: 10.1021/acsomega.0c02040) due to image duplication in Figure 5 on days 11 and 14 (disease control) and day 7 (standard treatment). Additionally, the histological and macroscopic wound-healing comparisons in Figures 7 and 5, respectively, were derived from different anatomical regions of the wound (peri-wound versus active wound margin), rendering the time-course analysis methodologically invalid.

Additional images provided by the authors raised further concerns about inconsistencies and anomalies. In light of all these findings, the editors have lost confidence in this work, and the article is being retracted.

The original article was published on September 18, 2020 and was retracted on February 24, 2026.
