Reporting Error:
On p. 320 of the Jul/Aug 2001 issue of JAMIA,1 the authors incorrectly stated that searches done by the SUNY Biomedical Communication Network in 1968 were submitted online but that results were printed offline and mailed back to the end-users. In fact, these early searches were performed online and were interactive. Search results were provided immediately and in person, not by mail.
