Correction for “Targeting Axl favors an antitumorigenic microenvironment that enhances immunotherapy responses by decreasing Hif-1α levels,” by Marie-Anne Goyette, Islam E. Elkholi, Chloé Apcher, Hellen Kuasne, Carla V. Rothlin, William J. Muller, Darren E. Richard, Morag Park, Jean-Philippe Gratton, and Jean-François Côté, which published July 15, 2021; 10.1073/pnas.2023868118 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 118, e2023868118).
The authors note that SI Appendix, Figs. S1 and S9 appeared incorrectly. “A duplication of CD3-stained images occurred in two SI Appendix, Fig. S1C and S9B.” The SI Appendix has been updated online.
In addition, the authors note that in Fig. 5A, the Vimentin and Tubulin immunoblots were generated from lysates run on two parallel gels rather than from a single membrane. Equal amounts of the same lysates were loaded on each gel, and separate membranes were used to allow optimal detection of both proteins without stripping. Quantification was performed by measuring Vimentin signal intensities and normalizing them to Tubulin using FIJI. The figure has not been updated.
