Retraction: Adipose stem cells’ antagonism in glycosylation of D-galactose-induced skin aging of nude mice and its skin recovery function

PMCID: PMC13051172  PMID: 41930896

The following article has been retracted at the request of the Editor and Publisher:

Wang H, Wei S, Xue X, You Y, Ma Q. Adipose stem cells’ antagonism in glycosylation of D-galactose-induced skin aging of nude mice and its skin recovery function. International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology. 2016;29(3):376-385. doi:10.1177/0394632016634348

Sage was contacted by a reader with concerns about potential image duplication in the article. Sage was also alerted to a conversation on PubPeer discussing the article.

Concerns were raised about the following figures in the article:

  • Figure 5 Panel A & C appears highly similar to Figure 4 Panel A1

  • Figure 7 Panel B & D appears highly similar to Figure 4 Panel A1

  • Figure 9 Panel C appears highly similar to Figure 5 Panel A1

The authors were contacted and given multiple opportunities to respond; however, no response was received.

Due to the unresolved concerns about image integrity, that call into question the validity of the findings, the Journal Editor and Sage retract the article.

The authors did not respond when notified of the retraction.
