Correction to: Communications Biology 10.1038/s42003-025-08897-w, published online 06 November 2025

In the version of this article initially published, due to mistakes during figure preparation, there was an error in Fig. 2d where the blot image for “CAPRIN1 IP with Normal IgG” was mistakenly duplicated from the “CAPRIN1 IP with Anti-FLAG” panel, and in Fig. 3j, the representative blot for CAPRIN1 inadvertently presented an image from a different experimental replicate. For comparison, the original and corrected Figs. 2d and 3j are available as Supplementary Information accompanying this amendment. In addition, in Fig. 3f, the molecular weight marker for CAPRIN1 was incorrectly labeled 78 kDa; the correct size is 110 kDa. The figures have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
