A 66-year-old patient who had undergone a trabeculectomy 3 years prior presented with cataract and a deposit on the anterior lens capsule. There was no history of intraocular inflammation. During cataract extraction, the deposit was removed and sent for pathology, which showed that it was consistent with scleral tissue. The piece of scleral tissue likely migrated into the anterior chamber following sclerotomy during the prior trabeculectomy procedure and deposited on the lens capsule.
