Brief comments on the currently published content and the respective corrections.
I am writing regarding our recently published article in Poultry Science (Manuscript ID: PSJ_PSJ-D-25-01964), which was accepted for publication on October 28, 2025. First of all, we would like to express our appreciation for your team’s professional handling of our manuscript throughout the review and production process.
Upon the formal online publication of our article, we noticed that the title currently displayed includes an additional segment at the beginning. After checking our records, we confirmed that this segment is actually the short title we provided in a separate field during the initial submission, in accordance with the journal’s formatting guidelines (all capital letters, within a word limit). Unfortunately, it appears that this short title was inadvertently merged into the main title in the published version.
We would like to clarify that both our acceptance letter and the final submitted manuscript contain the correct full title, without this short title segment. We also noticed that the short title appears separately and correctly capitalized on the invoice for the article processing fee.
We would therefore be most grateful if you could kindly correct the article title by removing the short title segment, so that the final published version reflects the title as it appeared in our accepted manuscript.
