Retraction Notice to: Blocking Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor Protects Against Cisplatin-Induced Acute Kidney Injury in Mice

Molecular Therapy is retracting this article at the request of the editor-in-chief. During an investigation of related articles, similarities were found between images within this article. Concerns were also posted to a Pubpeer thread: https://pubpeer.com/publications/A1F3A8DA6A124DF10AC4769E3B084B. Image analysis performed by the editorial office revealed evidence of image duplication in identical or altered fashion involving Figures 1F, 3E, 4A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6B, S2B, and S3B of this article. This reuse (and in part misrepresentation) of data without appropriate attribution represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The original notice of retraction was undeliverable to Xiao-Ru Huang and Christine Carlsson-Skwirut. Pawel Szczęśniak agreed with this retraction.
