The authors regret < An error was identified in Fig. 6C. During the collation of antibacterial experimental data, due to the large number of images from multiple experimental batches, the plate image of the Control + NIR group from the Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) experiment in Fig. 6A was mistakenly used in Fig. 6C. This was an oversight arising from data organization and figure arrangement. We sincerely apologize for this error and for any inconvenience caused to the editorial team and readers.

(A) Representative images and (B) counting statistics of S. aureus colony-forming units with NIR and without NIR irradiation. (C) Representative images and (D) counting statistics of E. coli colony-forming units with NIR and without NIR irradiation. Live/dead bacteria staining of S. aureus (E) and E. coli (F) after being treated with PVA-SF/CuS4 nanofiber membrane with or without NIR irradiation.
