This erratum corrects the author list of the article by Marotzke et al., “First experiments with ultrashort, circularly polarized soft x-ray pulses at FLASH2” [Struct. Dyn. 12, 034301 (2025)].

In the originally published article,1 the author list was incomplete. Several colleagues from DESY who made essential contributions were inadvertently omitted. We regret this oversight.

Skirmantas Alisauskas, Ayhan Tajalli, Giovanni Cirmi, and Hüseyin Cankaya developed and commissioned a new laser system that was crucial for the pump–probe experiments described in the paper. They also contributed to the experimental methodology, operation of the infrastructure, and, in some cases, direct investigation and data collection. In addition, Pavel Vagin and Kathrin Götze commissioned the undulator system that enabled the circularly polarized x-ray pulses used during the experimental campaign. Without their intellectual contributions, this study would not have been possible.

The following colleagues have now been added as co-authors with corresponding contributions:

Skirmantas Alisauskas — Methodology: equal

Ayhan Tajalli — Methodology: equal

Giovanni Cirmi — Methodology: equal; Investigation: equal

Hüseyin Cankaya — Methodology: equal; Investigation: equal

Pavel Vagin — Methodology: equal

Kathrin Götze — Methodology: equal

In addition, a typographical error in one of the authors' names in the originally published article1 has been corrected to “J. Rönsch-Schulenburg.”
