There was a mistake in Figure 3 as published. The image for the Cisplatin + Fer-1 group was used incorrectly. The corrected Figure 3 appears below.

FIGURE 3.

Scientific figure containing multiple panels illustrating the effects of different treatments (Control, LicoA, Cisplatin, Cisplatin+LicoA, Cisplatin+Fer-1) on cellular oxidative stress and viability: (A-C) Bar charts with individual data points showing changes in GSH level, MDA level, and Fe2+ concentration, respectively, with significant differences marked; (D) Fluorescent microscopy images labeling Hoechst and ROS, comparing groups; (E) Bar chart quantifying mean fluorescence of ROS; (F) Fluorescent images with red and green channels indicating non-oxidized and oxidized lipid, with (G, H) corresponding bar graphs quantifying mean fluorescence; (I) Fluorescent images labeled DAPI and Phalloidin showing cell morphology; (J) Bar graph displaying percent of cells with vacuoles. Error bars and statistical significance annotations are present throughout.

LicoA protects HK-2 cells against cisplatin-induced lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis. (A) GSH levels. (B) MDA levels. (C) Fe2+ levels. (D,E) ROS levels. (F–H) Lipid peroxidation levels. (I,J) Co-stained with phalloidin and DAPI. White arrows indicate the bulges of the cell membrane. The number of cells with blistered membranes was calculated. Scale bar = 50 μm. Results are expressed as means ± SEM, all n = 6 per group unless stated. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001.

There was a mistake in Figure 6 as published. The image for the Cisplatin group under the si-Nrf2 condition were used incorrectly. The corrected Figure 6 appears below.

FIGURE 6.

Panel (A) shows fluorescence microscopy images of cells stained for Hoechst and ROS under different conditions (Control, Cisplatin, Cisplatin plus LicoA) for Si-N.C. and Si-Nrf2 groups. Panel (B) presents a bar chart quantifying mean fluorescence of ROS levels. Panel (C) depicts fluorescence images of cells labeled for non-oxidized lipid (red) and oxidized lipid (green) across the same conditions and groups. Panels (D) and (E) are bar charts quantifying mean fluorescence of non-oxidized and oxidized lipids, respectively. Panel (F) shows Western blot analysis for GPX4 and xCT proteins with β-Tubulin as a loading control. Panels (G) and (H) display quantification of relative protein expression of GPX4 and xCT. Panel (I) presents fluorescence images of cells stained for mitochondria, with both merged and single-channel views. Panels (J), (K), (L), and (M) provide quantification of mitochondrial intensity and morphology metrics under the respective experimental conditions.

LicoA suppresses ferroptosis in HK-2 cells in an Nrf2-dependent manner. (A,B) ROS fluorescence levels. Scale bar = 50 μm, n = 6. (C–E) Lipid peroxidation levels. Scale bar = 20 μm, n = 6. (F–H) The protein expression of GPX4 and xCT in HK-2 cells, n = 3. (I) Mitochondrial morphology, Scale bar = 20 μm. (J–M) Mitochondrial mean perimeter, networks, mean branch length, and individual branches. n = 16–25, scale bar = 20 μm. Results are expressed as means ± SEM, *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001.
