PMCID: PMC13315344  PMID: 42179272

In the article by Habeichi et al, “Nicotinamide Riboside: A Promising Treatment for Type 1 Cardiorenal Syndrome in Myocardial Infarction–Induced Acute Kidney Injury by Upregulating Nicotinamide Phosphoribosyltransferase–Mediated Nicotinamide Dinucleotide Levels,” which published on February 26, 2026, and appeared in the March 4, 2026, issue of the Journal of the American Heart Association (J Am Heart Assoc. 2025;14:e038603. https://doi.org/10.1161/JAHA.124.038603), a correction was needed.

In the sources of funding statement, the authors mistakenly indicated that author George W. Booz received support from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under award number P20GM121334. This has now been removed from the Sources of Funding statement. The full statement now reads:

This work was supported by grants from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine (Grant No.s MPP—320145; URB—103949; URB—104262; URB—104115; URB—104524) to F.A.Z. R.D. and L.S. were supported by Scholarly Concentration Track funds from the Faculty of Medicine at American University of Beirut.

The correction has been made to the current online version of the article, which is available at https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/JAHA.124.038603.
