The Editors have retracted this article. After publication several image integrity concerns were raised, specifically:
Figure 1C M-I-48 R and Nonabokra L appear to overlap with rotation, although representing different plant tissues and rice lines. These bands also appear to overlap with those of Fig. 1D M-I-48, however Fig. 1C and D represent different probes.
Figure 1 C M-I-48 L appears to overlap with Fig. 1D Nonabokra, representing different probes and rice lines.
Figure 5 A lanes 4 and 5 appear to overlap with Fig. 5C, lanes 2 and 3 describing different treatments.
Figure 5B lanes 1 and 2 appear to overlap with Fig. 5D, lanes 1 and 2 describing different treatments.
The authors were unable to provide a sufficient response to concerns, or the original images. The Editors have lost confidence in the data and conclusions of this article.
