Following publication, concerns were raised regarding the integrity and provenance of some of the images included in the article. Specifically, it was identified that certain images presented as original were in fact obtained from other sources without appropriate authorisation. In addition, Figure 8, described in the article as representing the celiac artery, was determined to be an image of a human artery previously used for educational purposes.
The authors have stated that these issues were not identified prior to submission and publication. However, due to the potential ethical and legal implications associated with the use of unauthorised and inaccurately described images, the findings and content of this article are considered unreliable.
In accordance with publishing ethics and to maintain the integrity of the scientific record, the Editor and Publisher have agreed to retract the article.
