This Corrigendum relates to the above article.

Post-publication, an investigation identified a concern around the authenticity of the following figures/image panels:

  • -

Figure 5H (IL-5) and Figure 5H (IL-15) appear to show unexpected similarities.

  • -

Supplemental Figure S1 [M5 D14] and [M7 D14] of Ad-ECM appear to depict the same source image.

  • -

Supplemental Figure S4 [M1, Ad-ECM+C57 ASCs] and [M2, Ad-ECM+C57 ASCs] appear to depict the same source image.

The authors were requested to provide comment on these concerns, as well as the original unprocessed image files and tabular data to aid investigation, and have clarified that:

  • -

Figure 5H: The similarity between the IL-5 and IL-15 panels resulted from a data entry error during figure preparation, in which the IL-5 dataset was inadvertently duplicated for both plots. The authors have provided the correct Figure 5H as below.

  • -

Supplemental Figures S1 and S4: The duplicate images were included inadvertently during the assembly of the complete supplemental imaging dataset, which comprised approximately 390 images across all animals and time points. The duplications occurred due to mislabeling or misplacement of individual image files during this process. The authors have provided the correct Figure S1 and Figure S4 as below, with the duplicated panels replaced by clearly annotated blank placeholders indicating that images for those animals were not available.

The authors apologise for this oversight. The journal apologises that the oversight was not identified prior to publication.
