Independent veterinary group Pennard Vets has joined XLVets, a community of independently owned practices. Founded in Sevenoaks, Kent, in 1890, Pennard Vets operates eight practices across Kent, with sites in Allington, Borough Green, Langley Park, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and West Malling, as well as Priory Lodge Vets in Tonbridge. In 2021, the practice became employee‐owned, reflecting its commitment to independence, clinician‐led decision‐making and team involvement. Caroline Collins (pictured), vet and a director at Pennard Vets, said: ‘Our decision to join XLVets reflects a very natural alignment in values. We are proud of our independence and our employee‐owned structure, and we are equally committed to continual learning and improvement. XLVets offers a unique platform to collaborate with other like‐minded practices, share knowledge openly and strengthen the care we provide to our clients and their pets.‘
