Erratum for the Research Article, “Coinhibition of topoisomerase 1 and BRD4-mediated pause release selectively kills pancreatic cancer via readthrough transcription” by D. Cameron et al.

PMCID: PMC13618253  PMID: 42758852

The original version of the Research Article, “Coinhibition of topoisomerase 1 and BRD4-mediated pause release selectively kills pancreatic cancer via readthrough transcription” by D. Cameron et al. contained an error in Fig. 1D.

The following corrections have been implemented:

• In Fig. 1D, the authors inadvertently included a cropped region of the Bo99 untreated control image in place of the Bo103 untreated control image during figure assembly. The figure has been updated to include the correct untreated control image for Bo103.

• The raw IHC images have been deposited into Figshare and are available at https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.33390697. This link has been added to the “Data and materials availability” statement.

• In the section, “SN38 + JQ1–driven readthrough transcription affects late replication causing potential replication-transcription collisions,” the callout to fig. S3E has been corrected to call out fig. S3F in the sentence, “Considering that SN38 + JQ1 caused DoG transcription 200 kb beyond the TES (fig. S3E), this suggests that readthrough transcription can continue through replication boundaries.”

• In the section, “Chromatin immunoprecipitation with reference exogenous genome,” the following typos were corrected: “ml” was changed to “μl” in “…1 μg anti-H3K36me3 was mixed with 35 ml of Protein A/G mag-netic beads (Pierce, 88803)…” and “The beads were then resuspended in 125 ml of TE….” In “…precipitation in the presence of 20 mg of GlycoBlue,” mg was changed to μg.

The authors confirm these changes have no effect on their results or conclusions. The PDF and HTML versions of the article have been corrected.
