There was an error in Figure 11D. The bar representing “Control” was placed on the right and the bar representing “OSA” was placed on the left, which was the reverse of their labels. The corrected Figure 11 appears below.

FIGURE 11.

Multi-panel scientific figure showing a study involving rats exposed to normoxia or intermittent hypoxia (OSA model) for eight weeks. Panel A illustrates the experimental protocol with schematics of control and OSA groups, environmental conditions, and planned assessments. Panel B shows a line chart comparing rat weights over eight weeks, with control rats gaining more weight than OSA rats. Panel C displays two electrocardiogram traces, with the control group maintaining sinus rhythm and the OSA group exhibiting atrial fibrillation after burst pacing. Panel D presents a bar graph of rats developing atrial fibrillation (AF), showing higher incidence in the OSA group. Panel E presents a bar graph with scatter points showing longer AF duration in the OSA group compared to controls.

OSA rat model construction and AF induction. (A) Schematic representation for OSA rat model construction; (B) Weight recording between control and OSA rats; (C) AF induction between control and OSA group; (D,E) The statistical charts of AF inducibility and AF duration. OSA, Obstructive sleep apnea; AF, Atrial fibrillation.
