STUDIES ON THE VIABILITY OF THE TUBERCLE BACILLUS

Abstract

These observations suggest that open cases of tuberculosis should not be admitted to wards of a general hospital and emphasize the need of housing advanced cases under good control. Dust rising from dry-swept floors, even where phenol was used, produced the disease in guinea pigs.
