Abstract

Bad habits in the nervous system often lead to “vicious circles” in mental processes. Discipline is important here. Change of scene or sanatorium life is beneficial largely in its power to get the mind out of its “ruts.” Psychotherapy may effect this. Recovery from mental fatigue is less a matter of correcting metabolism than of forming desirable habits.
