The authors retract “In Vitro Effects of Some Chemotherapeutics on Human Erythrocyte Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Enzyme” (DOI: 10.1021/acsomega.4c06155) due to issues identified in the analysis and presentation of the enzyme inhibition and kinetic data underlying the study’s conclusions. Re-evaluation of the work indicated that correcting these issues would require extensive changes to the reported data, calculations, figures, tables, and interpretations. As the changes necessary to ensure the accuracy of the scientific record are beyond the scope of a correction, the authors have requested retraction of the article.
