Correction to “Using Passive Sensing to Isolate a Biosignature for Craving Among Individuals in Early Alcohol Use Disorder Recovery”

PMCID: PMC13634693  PMID: 42830204

Mei S., Emery N. N., and Eddie D., “Using Passive Sensing to Isolate a Biosignature for Craving Among Individuals in Early Alcohol Use Disorder Recovery,” Addiction Biology 31, no. 8 (2026): e70182, 10.1111/adb.70182.

The incidence rate ratio for the within‐person HF‐HRV effect was reported as 1.01 in the abstract, in section 3.2, and in Table 2, and its 95% confidence interval was reported in section 3.2 as [1.001, 1.002]. The correct values are 1.0006, 95% CI [1.0001, 1.0010]. This corresponds to an approximately 0.06% increase in expected craving per one unit increase in HF‐HRV. To aid in interpretation, a one‐SD increase in raw units of person‐centered HF‐HRV (321.77 units) corresponded to an IRR of approximately 1.205, or a 20.5% increase in the expected craving count. The direction, statistical significance, and conclusions of the study are unaffected.

We apologize for this error.
