The authors regret an error in the description of one study identified after publication. The original sentence, “For instance, in one observational study, a larger reduction in added sugars and a greater increase in dietary protein were seen among participants receiving GLP-1s plus dietary counseling compared to GLP-1s alone [156],” has been corrected to “In one controlled trial, a larger reduction in added sugars and a greater increase in dietary protein were seen among participants randomized to a calorie-restricted diet with dietary counseling, compared to participants randomized to receive a GLP-1 (liraglutide) alone [156].” The authors note that this error did not affect any other portion of the manuscript or its conclusions. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. The authors would also like to acknowledge and thank Lindsay Christensen for pointing out the error.
